Hello, everybody! We hope everyone feels amazing! Before we continue our trip down memory lane at the top of 2013, we have a few updates. Let's dive right in!

Thank you all SO much for the donations we received this past week. It means more than ever. We spent two weeks applying for an SBA COVID-10 Relief loan for Hickory Arts, only to be told the well had dried up. 82% of the businesses who received part of the SBA funding are worth a million dollars or more because of the parameters and tax loopholes. Hedge funds were legally able to apply and receive those funds even though that is not the mom & pops businesses it was intended for. Now that they've passed another relief bill, we'll just have to wait and see.

Governor Cooper just extended the stay-at-home-order for non-essential business. One week more! Needless to say, we will continue to share our fundraisers until May 8th. Any share of our fundraisers on social media goes a long way. We still have a long way to go. Anything you can spare is helpful. We have a campaign running on Facebook here and another on Square there. Thank you for your generosity and your support.

We continue to generate a lot of content on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and through our mailing list; sharing our history throughout the community. We would love it if you could give us a "Like" and subscribe. We'd double-love it if you are willing and able to make a video or say a little something nice about the studio for whatever social media platforms you belong to and possibly perform something! If you don't mind, perhaps you could share or mention our fundraisers in a post or in an email. We NEVER ask for this sort of thing, so please know how important this is to all of us here at the studio.
