Once More, with Feeling

COVID-19, JEFF-46

Hello, everybody! We hope everyone is awesome! Before we finish revisiting 2013, we have a few announcements to accompany Jeff's video above. Lots to unpack!

We experienced another generous week of contributions to our Hickory Arts COVID-19 Relief fundraisers. Thank you! Governor Cooper extended the stay-at-home order until May 8th, so we’ll be extending our fundraisers until then—"Once more, with feeling!" We also had several shares and testimonials that gave us a great deal of comfort. We’ve managed to raise a quarter of our goal, so any share and anything you can spare will help the studio in a big way.

As of today, it is our intention to re-open on Monday, May 11, presuming the Governor doesn't extend the stay-at-home order, again. We have confidence in the safety of our one-on-one sessions and our ongoing cleanliness. However, we realize not everyone is going to feel like jumping back in. So, we will continue to offer Zoom/Skype/FaceTime sessions AND our regular sessions. If you are interested in trying Zoom/Skype/FaceTime sessions, we have added a link on our DIY booking site… https://squareup.com/appointments/book/ARNZGQZMDBK1C/hickory-arts or you can simply let us know and we'll hook you up.

If you would like to offer some financial relief, you can find our fundraiser on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/donate/864995040606683. We have another fundraiser on our Square store site if folks feel more comfortable making a private offering, that way, at https://squareup.com/store/hickoryarts. Thank you for the support we've received so far. It has helped tremendously.

We continue to generate a lot of content on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and through our mailing list; sharing our history throughout the community. We would love it if you could give us a "Like" and subscribe. We'd double-love it if you are willing and able to make a video or say a little something nice about the studio for whatever social media platforms you belong to and possibly perform something! If you don't mind, perhaps you could share or mention our fundraisers in a post or in an email. We NEVER ask for this sort of thing, so please know how important this is to all of us here at the studio.

Let's continue where we left off! Across our social media you'll find highlights from our portfolio, taking us through to the end of 2013. If you have a Hickory Arts story or video you'd like to share, please join us by celebrating the studio and your artistry with the hashtag #hickoryartshistory

Thank you for your continued support, stay safe and well, from all of us at Hickory Arts.

Much love,

Jeff Hartman
Artistic Director
