Jimmy Kurts has been taking voice lessons at Hickory Arts for a little over a year, now. He is very involved in local arts efforts such as community theatre, dance, and music. His last appearance on stage was as Donkey in “Shrek the Musical” for Caldwell County Schools. He will be attending Western Carolina as a freshman this fall to pursue a BFA in Acting. Jimmy would like to thank Jeff for all of the countless hours he has invested in him as an artist and a person.

Madison Phelps is a 15-year-old, rising sophomore at Saint Stephens High School. She has always had a passion for singing and has been playing guitar and songwriting for seven years. Along with her passion for singing, Madison also has a passion for animals. She has participated in two internships at The Humane Society and hopes to intern at a veterinarian's office during her last two years of high school. Madison wants to pursue her dream of attending North Carolina State University’s Veterinary Program once she graduates high school.
