William Morgan House Concert

  • Hickory Arts 720 2nd Avenue Southwest Hickory, NC, 28602 United States (map)

Bill is back! Please join us on Thursday, February 12, 2026, for the first in this year’s series of Hickory Arts house concerts featuring Singer/Guitarist William Morgan. Tickets (donations) are $20 and can be purchased online. Only 30 seats are available. Tickets will not be sold at the door. Doors open at 7:30 pm for an “Eat & Greet” with the artist. Performance begins at 8 pm.

Everything Artist William Morgan started taking piano at an early age, but despite his piano teacher’s best efforts, he never made it big on the Mississippi classical music circuit. He’s appeared on stage as Javert in “Les Misérables,” Arthur in “Spamalot,” and Sweeney in “Sweeney Todd.”

He was the Artistic Director of the Old Opera House Community Theatre and has held various side jobs: voiceover work for the National Conservation Training Center, clowning, singing telegrams, waiting tables, and morning talk radio. Finally, he settled down and married "up" to his wife Michelle. He is the proud stepfather and father-in-law of Sydney and Adrian and doggy daddy to Augie.

Bill closed the 2024 Hickory Arts House Concert Series season with a sold-out performance, and we are thrilled to have him back to open the 2026 series season with a special Valentine's Day-themed house concert!

Hickory Arts House Concerts are very intimate. Volunteers to provide food (potluck) for the performer(s) and guests is strongly encouraged. All proceeds always go directly to the artist(s). No membership or personal invitation required.
